West from the center of Cycadia Forest is a large valley overrun solely by cycads. The climate here is quite a change from the surrounding tropical forest. The land is drier and has less tree cover. The savanna-like lands here are prone to fires and mostly reflect the seasons, cold in winter, and burning in summer.
